gênica por RT-qPCR, etc) é requerimento;
- Experiência em biologia molecular de plantas, incluindo técnicas de
transformação transiente e estável de plantas é essencial;

Title of the project: Study of the function of the DEAD-box RNA helicase
NtDDX35 and its binding to RNA.
The Laboratory of Plant Molecular Biology, at FFCLRP-USP, announces a
postdoctoral position for research development in the project “The
importance of the SCI1 gene in the floral meristem, its transcriptional
regulation and evolutionary conservation.” The project uses molecular
biology techniques to investigate the influence of SCI1 and its interaction
partners on plant development.
*Qualifications:*
- Solid experience in molecular biology techniques (extraction and
quantification of DNA and RNA, cloning techniques, PCR, gene expression
analysis by RT-qPCR, etc.) is required;
- Experience in plant molecular biology, including transient and stable
plant transformation techniques, is essential;
- Experience with extraction and purification of plant proteins is
desirable;
- Previous experience with RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) will be an
advantage;
- Proficiency in the English language (writing and verbal communication).
The candidate must have completed a doctorate and have an excellent
postgraduate academic record. Applications must be sent to Prof. Dr. Maria
Helena S. Goldman (mgoldman em ffclrp.usp.br), with a curriculum vitae and 2
letters of recommendation. The position is open to Brazilians and
foreigners. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral
Scholarship worth R$ 12,000.00 per month and a Technical Reserve equivalent
to 10% of the annual value.
